“ Stopped by around 9:30 for some breakfast. The place was vibrant and super busy, but they were super efficient with getting orders flowing. The food came out promptly, but the drinks were maybe 10 or more minutes after. I’m a slow eater so I didn’t mind, and the drinks were worth the wait! The strawberry matcha was the best I’ve ever had. Would return here. ”
“ Great coffee and plenty of food options for breakfast! Service was pretty quick, and I stopped by twice during my trip. It was really busy on Sunday, so I left and came back the next day with no issues. Super cute cafe and great vibes overall! ”
“ I came here to say for breakfast and they did not disappoint. I had the breakfast biscuit with bacon and it was super yummy. I also had the banana fosters iced latte which was full of flavor and came with a little cookie. The service was quick and the tables were cleaned up really quickly. They have a huge selection of savory food, pastries, and drinks. I definitely recommend popping in. ”
“ We ate breakfast here 2 days this week. The food is good. My daughter insisted that if we could give Goddess and the Baker six stars... we would. I had eggs and a blueberry muffin. Eggs were perfectly cooked. The muffin is the best that I have ever had. My daughter had a waffle and a latte. The presentation was beautiful and unbelievably good. The atmosphere fits. Seating was limited when they were busy, but they did a great job keeping things moving and getting us seated. This is our favorite restaurant in Chicago by a country mile. ”
“ Boisterous crowds make it a happening breakfast stoppe. They'll bring your order to the table if you choose the dine-in, and while it can be noisy, the din isn't intolerable. I'd be surprised if there were not more out-of-towners than locals at this location. Little sparrows have become accustomed to getting scraps of fresh bakery items from the floor, and hence instead of flying into the glass, will just simply fly in. Not pestering customers at all, they're pretty fun companions as they hop around the floor or fly overhead. The most imp part then, the bakery items are fresh and the coffee is good. That's what you want before you start your touristy activities. ”
“ Busy, busy, busy....but worth the wait! Our first meal in Chicago was brunch from here. Our group had a variety of items from Avocado toast to Huevros Ranchero Tostado and yogurt. All of us were very pleased with our choices. We each got a bakery item and shared....and vowed to come back each morning of our trip for more of the Chocolate croissants! Delish!! The wait for coffee was over 30 minutes, so we opted for their canned, refrigerated cold brew which was surprisingly good and hit the spot. Definitely worth the wait. Definitely worth the money. A must try. ”
“ Incredible from start to finish, the experience was impeccable. High-quality, flavorful food, super quick service, and a great atmosphere. It’s a bit overpriced, but definitely worth it. I’ll be back for sure on my next visit! ”
“ While visiting my son in Chicago had a fun experience at this lovely coffee shop. The banana pecan muffin looked good and tasted even better! Fun decor here. Friendly staff. Great vibe. The walk upstairs is so fun and am sure it was fun creating. Looks like there is full kitchen upstairs. I loved my chamomile detox tea! Such a fun venue while in the area ”
